Dr. Jane Goldberg and The Expressive Arts Training Institute invites you to attend the year long Expressive Arts Therapy Training Program presented throughout the United States. The training provides an opportunity for creativity and healing, personal and professional growth, college credits, professional certification, and specific tools and techniques for immediate clinical application.This experiential retreat curriculum has been designed to meet the guidelines of both the National Expressive Therapy Association (N.E.T.A.), and the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (I.E.A.T.A.). All graduates will be eligible for National Certification when they complete the year long process by monthly attendance. It is up to the individual participant to determine for themselves if they wish to pursue certification and/or to become members of these associations.
Class meeting times are: Friday Evening 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturday Evening Session 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. A creative art/writing project and a short reflection paper will be required as homework to enhance and deepen the experience of the week-end and to prepare for the next Session. Readings and an extended Bibliography will be provided each week-end. However, it is up to the individual participant to determine whether to devote 2 or 10 hours during the month to complete these assignments. |
