ART, CREATIVITY & SEXUALITY: A DAY OF EXPLORATION On this day we will explore our beliefs about sexuality and learn more about achieving healthy intimacy in relationships. Using educational approaches and expressive arts activities, we will access the heightened flow of creative energy that could lead to a greater expression of your sexuality, whether alone or in relationship. Trust yourself to open to the artistic creative process and have a new experience and understanding of this very dynamic aspect of your Self. Saturday, May 17th, 2008 CAMFT The whole adventure of creativity is about joy and love and liberation. The path of individuation, the road to recovery, the hero’s journey and the artist’s process of discovery also go through a similar archetypal pattern of change. They all require a risk-taking, a letting-go, an element of surprise and synchronicity and bring forth healing, wholeness and transformation. "The Play's The Thing": Improvisational Psychodramatic Techniques or, Expressive Arts Therapy focuses on the willingness to be spontaneous; to be in the moment; to be creative, intuitive and expressive. On this day we will experience how movement, play, improvisation and dramatic enactment can awaken understanding of core psychological issues and move our clients to the next level of their growth. With Playback Theatre and other improvisational techniques, we will deeply explore the transforming power of "story-play."
